Vince Gilligan has always been great with the cars on his shows, but Better Call Saul is set in 2002, not 2011. This is literally the first time I’ve seen a car which was very out of place.
To give credit where credit is due, I’m one full season and 8 episodes in before I finally noticed a discrepancy. Plus all 6 seasons of breaking bad.

Damn.
I had a moment of that in the first season, last year— the monitors on the computers were 2008-9-era.

Similarly, I watched the FX show about the OJ Simspon trial and I never ceased to be amazed at how they managed to track down so many period-appropriate cars that weren't beat to shit

I noticed immediately and informed my wife, to her dismay.

I noticed a 5 series of the wrong year in Narcos. Like a early 2000s BMW they were riding in. I'll have to look into it.

Found it. This one was a big oversight. That’s obviously an E39 5 series. Pablo died in 1993, a few years before this car was released.

That seems like a pretty big screw up. Surprised no one caught that

and The Great Gatsby. Jay Gatsby drives a Duesenberg Model J. The film is set in 1922, the Model J was in production from 1928 - 1937. Jay Gatsby says it has a supercharger, the supercharger became an option in 1932. If they would be period correct they would have used a Duesenberg Model A, it was in production form 1921 - 1927.

At least you’re not like everyone else on /r/BetterCallSaul that makes daily posts on Kaylee Ehrmantraut’s fluctuating age...

Almost none of the cars featured in the movie are period-correct. But when a movie set in 1922 features music by Jay-Z, what can you expect?

How about the major mess up on Breaking Bad (really a marketing ploy). The show ends in 2010 (on-screen time) and he drives a 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8!
